This 3 Days Mgahinga Gorilla National Park takes you to the smallest game park in Uganda with the vegetation that consist of woodland and only small area of pure montane forest at the base of mount muhavura and above the montane forest lies the bamboo zone and this covers about 60% of the park and experiences no really dry season.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Mgahinga

According to arrival time we transfer to the place were gold meets silver and this is about 9-10 hour drive from Kampala. Stop over at equator with an enroute lunch in Mbarara, a stopover at twin lakes in kichwamba. Proceed and check-in at mountain mgahinga lodge or mgahinga rest camp.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Batwa trail

Have breakfast in the morning and then go to the park headquarters for briefing and after proceed to the jungle in search for the park’s only habituated gorilla family and this comprises of silver backs, female adults, juveniles and infants have lunch and then Batwa trail which leads to the base of muhavura cave, the long garama cave lies beneath a plateau northern edge of the park 3km from Ntebeko. Dinner and rest.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala.

After breakfast we check out and embark on our journey back to Kampala with an enroute lunch. This marks the end of our safari.
